If you like your Jazz with a side of rushing water all served up in one of the last strongholds of Medieval Galway get on down to Il Vicolo from around 7:30pm and catch Szymon MisniakBarbara Vulso and Eanna Ryder dishing out the classics.

Monroe’s Galway is a busy spot tonight with something for everybody! At 8pm Mouse McHugh continues his residency downstairs while at 8:30pm you can see The Smyths upstairs and then from 10pm the legends Crazy Town will be banging out the hits.

If Country/Folk is your thing then get on down the Crane Bar at 9pm and experience Greg Cotter and Mary Flanagan curating the friendliest session in the country!

If you’re across the river then drop into Tigh Neachtain and catch Dobro virtuoso Tom Portman and his band of merry men doing their thing in the musician’s corner from 9:30pm. The lewd tunes are having a birthday party in Buskers from around 10pm or you can catch James Richardson and Fred Mc Closkey doing their Sunday thing in the Quays Bar Galway from 10:30pm. Bass player extraordinaire Karl Clews will be getting super-freaky in The Dáil Bar Galway from around 10:30pm and we will be rolling on stage for 12 midnight!

After another stimulating week of world news coverage, we are even more determined to bring some less than serious sounds to the back room of the Roisin Dubh Joining me to make a whole lot of noise tonight… Michael Corbett on keys. Tom Portman on dobro. Eoin Mccann on bass. Mark Sullivan on guitar and Banagher blues. Atreyu on drums. Gabo GD on flutes. Maciek Zaworonek on harmonica. Mark Felmingham on sax.
