We Banjo 3 Present ‘A Night for Rosabel’

Martín Ó’Connor are the special guests who have just been added to the line up for We Banjo 3 presents a Night for Rosabel.

One of Ireland’s best live bands ‘We Banjo 3’ will play a very special concert on Thursday 12 April in the iconic setting of St. Nicholas’s Church in Galway. This special evening is in aid of the recently-launched charity ‘Rosabel’s Rooms at the Irish Hospice Foundation’. It has just been announced that a line up of special guests will join We Banjo 3 on the night in support of the organisation.

‘Rosabels Rooms’ is a very special national initiative to provide essential comfort and support to families experiencing child loss in Ireland. The project was founded by Suzanne McClean and Gary Monroe, who tragically and suddenly lost their daughter Rosabel last April, aged 16 months. Ireland’s first “Rosabel’s Room’ is currently underway at University Hospital Galway. Through its ‘Room-to-Heal’ fund, this project will also facilitate therapeutic and financial supports for individuals and families impacted by child loss in Ireland.

We are really enthusiastic about this project, which was launched in collaboration with The Irish Hospice Foundation on what would have been Rosabel's second birthday. It is hoped that Rosabel's Rooms will assist other families during the saddest time of their lives, and that alongside this our daughter will be remembered as the beautiful little angel that we always knew she was - Suzanne McClean, Co-founder, Rosabel’s Rooms

This unique event, ‘We Banjo 3 Presents a Night for Rosabel’, promises to be one of the must-see events of the year. Described by the Wall Street Journal as “wonderous…with a freshness and finesse bordering on magical”, ‘We Banjo 3’ is a multi-awarded winning musical group who combine supergroup credentials with a breath-taking command of the emotive power of fiddle, guitar, mandolin and banjo. They have been hailed on both sides of the Atlantic as the new gold-standard of traditional Irish and American roots music. Any single member of this group could electrify a venue with a solo performance, but together, in the joyous musical alchemy of ‘We Banjo 3’their live shows have become legendary.
